Permissions

There are three main categories of Permissions in the CMS

  • Administrative Permissions
    those are Permissions, which allow you to manage Users and Groups, as well as to grant Permissions to them. Users who pertain to the "Administrators" Group are automatically granted Administrative Permissions. No other Users can have such Permissions.
  • Global Permissions
    those Permissions provide access to special tools, which affect the content of the whole site. Global Permissions are set per-Group.
  • Page Permissions
    those are fine-grained Permissions, which control the management of Page Content and Control Content on a per-Page basis. The Page Permissions are set from the Permissions section of the Control Panel.
