Locked content

It might be possible that an object you want to edit is  . This will prevent that changes by a colleague will be overwritten. If you're certain you want to transfer the rights to your own account, then follow the next steps:

Unlock content

1. Sign in to AlienCMS 
2. Click on Administer website
3. Click on  Locked content in the left sidebar
4. Select the layout, page and/or editor you want to unlock by clicking the checkbox in front of it
5. a. Assign to me: Keep the file locked, but transfer the lock to your own account
   b. Unlock: Remove the lock from the object
